Active Shooter Situations are an unfortunate part of the world we live in today. Now we may not be able to avoid the incident all together, but with a little bit of knowledge we can better prepare ourselves and possibly reduce the impact of a deadly Active Shooter encounter.

Below we have complied a list of resources that may be able to better help individuals, organizations and Warriors prepare for an Active Shooter. This list is a compilation of some of excellent open source material we have found, but it is by no means all inclusive. Homeland Security Active Shooter Preparedness
The Department of Homeland Security is an excellent resource for information on preparing for an Active Shooter incident. On the site they have tools for Law Enforcement and other Stakeholders

The FBI has a page dedicated to Active Shooter Incidents. It is an excellent place for Law Enforcement and other Warriors to gain valuable knowledge that will help them prepare for an Active Shooter situation. It includes links to resources such as:
